and it’s a smoke texture, which I found by googling ‘smoke texture’ I think. I don’t have it any more to pass along but any of them will give you the same effect on lighten/screen :)

I couldn’t say for definite, I’m sorry anon. If it helps, it looks like some layers are blurred and there’s a texture over the top to give it that white grainy effect. Maybe try the original poster? I’m sure they’d be willing to point you in the right direction.

Holy - no.

I think surviving in the Hunger Games is pretty much like surviving a zombie apocalypse - you need to be able to run long distances without falling over and wheezing. I think my only chance would be to try and burrow back into the launch pad, while hoping that nobody else would notice me. My two best assets - screaming when spooked and browsing the internet - don’t appear to be that much of an advantage in a life or death situation. I can’t even climb trees.

Spartacus is a TV show that’s on Starz. It’s got three seasons so far, Spartacus Blood and Sand which was 2010, then came a prequel called Gods of the Arena 2011, and now we’re on to another season called Spartacus: Vengeance.

I seriously cannot recommend this show enough, anon. If you’re a fan of blood, gore, sex, and interesting plots, this is the show for you.

The movie challenge? I don’t really have time to watch a film a day, and the last film I watched was Trailer Park of Terror, which, believe me, isn’t going to be winning any Oscars anytime soon. I like to stick to so bad they’re good films, but who’d want to hear about my review on Killer Klowns from Outer Space? If I watched anything with merit I’d probably be tempted, lol.

Though, if you ever want to know about amazingly atrocious horror movies filmed on a budget of what looked like fifteen pounds, let me know ;)

tumblr won’t let me answer anonymous questions for some reason, so these have been piling up - sorry that I’ve taken forever to answer them, I’m professionally lazy.

Anon #1 - Ummm, I think it’s a combination of lots of desaturated pictures (of anything) blurred and set to soft light, coupled with a separate layer of the graphic over the top set to soft light, also, and shifted a few milimetres to the side to give it a double affect. there may have been a grain texture filter affect on one of the layers as well. I used a few colour adjustment layers to give it a green appearance.. and it’s sad how badly I’m remembering this given that I’ve only just done it. I’m sorry if you don’t get this at all, anon, being clear with directions is obvs not something I was born with, eek.

Anon #2 - I like them both, I really don’t think I have a favourite because when they fit I can’t bring myself to take sides, IDK.

Anon #3 - I’ve got Agron and Nasir in the sidebar atm… I think it was Klaus and Caroline, with Stefan/Elena and Diana/Faye/Melissa from tsc before that though.

Anon #4 - It’s just a matter of personal preference, anon. I find things within the character that draw me in, I’m sorry that you don’t find her the same.

Anon #5- I don’t ship either. I’d like them both equally, I guess, but I’m fine with Haley and Nathan on the show. Sometimes I’ll read fanfic (mostly LP) that’ll have Nathan and Brooke together and I’ll be fine with that as well - as long as LP were together I didn’t think too much about the other pairings, lol. I don’t think you could ever have NB on the show though because that’s always going to be about NH.
